How we started

Amy Little has loved plants since her childhood, working with her father, Louis Little in Erie, Pennsylvania. Amy started out with a part time job watering plants for model homes and country clubs  in 1976. This call to the plant world for a source of income seemed a natural progression for Amy, and in 1978 asked her brother, Clark Little, if he wanted to join hands in business. The industry of interior plant services was beginning to be pioneered by people all over the world, and the two relied upon one another for labor in the those first few years. In 1980 The Little Plant Co. transitioned into short term rentals and convention decor to provide even more services. Excelling in service and reliability in the Phoenix area allotted The Little Plant Co. to  serve venues nationwide with the convention industry.  At the turn of the century Clark decided to retire from the plant business, but he still enjoys assisting from time to time. Amy continues to grow the business thriving in the position of sole proprietor.
